Schools Programme

Some people decide they want to be doctors, lawyers or investment bankers at the age of seven, but for most people, it's a much harder decision to make. The J.P. Morgan Schools Programme, which takes place in August 2010, has been designed with exactly this in mind. As an A-Level student you'll gain an early insight into the world of investment banking and you'll be offered a glimpse of what the future could hold for you.

You'll spend three days with us, learning about the various facets of a global investment bank, meeting inspirational people from across J.P. Morgan, and developing skills that will be beneficial not only at school but at university and beyond. It's a chance for you to strengthen your CV and gain practical networking opportunities for your future. It's never too early to start exploring your career options; we believe our Schools Programme will help you do just that.

What to expect

You can choose to attend one of two identical programmes. The first Schools Programme takes place August 17-19, 2010. The second takes place August 24-26, 2010.

During the programme, you'll participate in the following:

  • Classroom-based presentations
  • Case studies
  • Interactive seminars
  • Skills sessions
  • Work shadowing on our trading floors

We hope you'll leave us with a clear understanding of what we do, how we do it, and where you may fit in. Investment banking is an exciting, challenging and fast-paced industry, and you may be surprised at just how many opportunities there are for talented individuals.

How to apply
