Good Venture Case Competition

Invest our money in a good cause. And invest in your career.

Do you know of a worthy cause that deserves some serious investment? The Good Venture Case Competition offers you the chance to make a difference.

As part of our Good Venture program on campus, we're offering you the opportunity to make a case for why a philanthropic non-profit organization of your choice should receive a $15,000 donation from J.P. Morgan.

How it works

You and your team choose a cause and make the case for why it deserves the investment. The teams with the best submissions from U.S. and Europe will be invited to our headquarters in New York City or London to present to a panel of senior judges. Those judges will decide which team wins the $15,000 for their organization.

We have two competitions running this year - one for students based in the U.S., and one for students in Europe. Read more about the competition taking place in your region:

Why you should get involved

It's a chance for you to make a difference. Not only to your cause, but to your career as well. You'll hone your business planning, teamwork, presentation, and analytical skills - exactly the skills we're looking for in future colleagues. And if you're invited to join us at the grand final in either New York or London, you'll network with industry leaders and learn more about our business.

When you submit your proposal, your résumé/CV will be reviewed by the recruiting team to get to know you better*. Outstanding candidates could be asked to interview for a position at J.P. Morgan.

* Note: this is not part of the proposal evaluation process.
