J.P. Morgan Launching Leaders Undergraduate Scholarship

What is the Scholarship?

The Launching Leaders Undergraduate Scholarship includes internship opportunities, as well as scholarships of up to $15,000. It gives talented Black, Hispanic and Native American students the chance to fulfill their career ambitions and carve out an outstanding reputation at one of the world's leading financial services firms.

Scholarship recipients will receive a spot in our 2012 Summer Analyst internship program and awards of up to $15,000. And it's money that will be paid directly to you.

Within the internship program, you will be placed in a role in Investment Banking, Sales & Trading, Research or IB Risk.

For sophomores, if you perform well over the course of the summer and maintain a 3.5 GPA average in school, you could join us for another summer and receive the scholarship again.

For juniors, if you perform well over the course of the summer and maintain a 3.5 GPA average in school, you could receive a spot in the 2013 full-time Analyst program.

Who's eligible?

The program is open to Black, Hispanic and Native American sophomores and juniors from all majors who are interested in financial services and have a 3.5 GPA minimum.

But that's not all. We want to know about what else you are involved in – so tell us about your extracurricular achievements – particularly those that show your leadership qualities. We're looking for strong communicators with solid analytical, quantitative and technical skills. This is a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. We want to see that you can thrive here.

What should I do next? 

Applications are now closed. If you have applied, you will receive an email notifying you of your status in the application process by December 1, 2011. If selected to move forward, we will provide you with detailed instructions regarding the next application steps. Inteviews will be concluded by January 1, 2012 and Scholarship recipients will be notified of their status.
