Early Advantage BA What We Do

What we offer

Our Sophomore Development Fellowship offers second-year university students, who self-identify as Black, Hispanic or Native American, a path to a successful career in financial services. This intensive program will develop your technical and professional skills, build your network across our firm, and provide you with our colleagues and leaders as mentors.  Over three months, you’ll participate in virtual trainings and two live sessions in our Chicago and New York City offices, with travel and accommodations paid by JPMorgan Chase.

Experience

You’ll start the program in June with virtual sessions designed to establish an understanding of your current skillsets and build your financial fundamentals. To round out your career readiness, we’ll work with you on professional development, which will include communications and relationship management skills. Live training will be hosted in Chicago from June 26 to June 28 and in New York City from July 24 to July 26. Each session will help you practice your skills, provide deeper insight into our various career paths and allow you to experience first-hand what it means to be part of a leading financial services company. To accelerate your development, you’ll be expected to complete assignments and projects for our in-person events. Along the way, we’ll provide you with the support you need, including a mentorship with one of our team members.

Future Opportunity

This program is intended to be your start to a successful career at JPMorgan Chase. You’ll see how we have an impact on our clients and customers and how our purpose-driven culture drives what we do. We’ll provide you with the tools and experiences to transition into a career in financial services, as you determine which internship programs best match your skills and interests.  Successful Fellows will have the opportunity to apply for a summer internship at the end of the program.
