BRANDON:
Hi, my name is Brandon. I am an analytic solutions associate in our data and analytics organization. What I do on a day-to-day basis is the actual technical building of models or code logics, and then display them to our stakeholders. So, I would describe our team as kind of like an internal consulting organization within JPMorgan Chase. JPMorgan Chase makes sure that you're getting promoted and not only progressing through the company but also making sure that you're being challenged. I would describe the culture as kind of like a startup feel, where everyone is collaborative, helping you learn, pushing you to expand your thought, and just be truly, intellectually curious. Working at this company makes everything a little bit more real. Where your decisions have a direct impact to consumers. The impact that I have seen with communities is just their direct investment into like hiring and the goals of how many people coming in directly from college. One of the coolest things that I was able to do was create these kind of intimate internal talks that kind of transpired after the death of George Floyd so that everyone can have a platform. Love taekwondo. I've been doing that since I was 7. I think the way that taekwondo is kind of connected to the work that I'm doing now is the strategy component, as well as the work ethic and discipline.

What do I love about working in New York City? I love that there is a little taste of everything. Cycling is probably one of the most thrilling/dangerous thing you can probably do in the city. We have ping-pong tables. That can get very competitive. Three words to sum up my day: strategic, communication, and fun. Don't be afraid to ask questions like, when can I start working here?
