Hi, My name is Dru. I'm a Vice President of Operations. My functional role is the site lead for international consumer service: Manila operations and ensure that my team provides the best service while creating the best place to work for my team. I empower my team by giving them the authority to make decisions, allowing them to learn. Being in the more senior role now allows me to take a step back and look at the bigger picture and create a space for my team to grow and develop. I see mentoring as a two-way street, right? It really is a dialogue. And instead of you giving the answers all the time, you encourage the person to actually discover the answers. The jobs of today may not be the jobs of tomorrow. The skills of the future is what we call program. That allows our employees to be developed and to acquire the skills that are needed to fill the roles that would potentially come in three, five years down the road. The direction of the firm today is to move into, more into technology, move into cloud and move into machine learning, AI, and we are preparing our teams, our employees here locally. I see myself continuing to grow with JP Morgan Chase because I see the firm. It's not just, you know, a bank. There is a plethora of opportunities. When we deliver an excellent service, it creates confidence that then results to creating more jobs, more opportunities, you know, for the Philippine corporate sector.

When I was growing up, I wanted to become a professional basketball player. Three words that sum up my day would be lead, inspire, and empower. My career advice is to follow your purpose.
