What is pymetrics?
Pymetrics is a game-based platform that measures social, cognitive and behavioral traits. We're using pymetrics during the application process to go beyond your resume and really get to know you and how you work.
The 12 games, which take about 20-30 minutes to complete, are a fun way to learn what’s unique about you.
How does it work?
You'll play a series of 12 games that measure the traits that make you, you! There are no right or wrong answers - we're looking at how you approach problems, not specific solutions.
And pymetrics is just a piece of the process. Our people still consider all application materials – including in-person or virtual interviews – when making hiring decisions.
What’s in it for me?
After playing the pymetrics games, you’ll receive a detailed and individualized trait report for the talents you already possess. Pymetrics gives you the opportunity to shine, beyond what's on paper.
We want you to find a meaningful job in which you are most likely to succeed in. To help you find your fit, we've partnered with pymetrics to create the Program Navigator.
Frequently Asked Questions
Playing the games as part of an application
If you haven’t played as part of your initial search process, you’ll receive an email invitation to play after you submit your application. We’ll review everything once you’ve finished the pymetrics games. We strongly encourage you to complete the games as soon as possible. Not all roles require you to play the pymetrics games, but most do.
You can only play the games once per year since they’re most accurate the first time. But, don’t worry! We’re only looking at how your playing matches with different roles, not for a particular set of answers.
You don’t need to replay the games if you’ve played in the last year [330 days to be exact], but you still need to click on the link in the email invitation you’ll receive after applying for your results to be submitted along with your application.
Once you begin a game, you cannot pause that game. However, each game lasts only 2-3 minutes, and you can take breaks in between the games. If you start pymetrics, but do not complete the full 12 game series, you will receive a reminder email.
You will have access to a personalized trait report that provides insight into your unique social, cognitive and behavioral traits. You can view that trait report anytime by logging into your pymetrics account and navigating to the “Traits” tab.
