Creating a diverse team is a critical part of JPMorgan Chase's success. We’re looking for people with different backgrounds and perspectives to help us grow and position our businesses for the future.

Sophomore Edge is a program that provides an immersive training experience into the world of banking for historically underrepresented segments in the field of financial services, specifically Black, Hispanic and Native American students. Talented students will be exposed to the finance industry and different career paths through a series of in-person events and virtual sessions.

What we offer

Sophomore Edge is designed to help you gain a deep understanding of JPMorgan Chase internship opportunities, ultimately preparing you to apply for for a role that best matches your skills and interests. You'll have the option to choose from three different career tracks, each holding a two-day conference at a JPMorgan Chase U.S. location where you'll learn how to navigate corporate environments and excel in our application process.  

Your development will continue at the end of the program with our virtual community, all designed to equip you with the career advice and guidance you need to successfully secure an internship.  You’ll also have an opportunity to apply and interview for a 2021 summer internship represented in the track you participated in. A successful summer internship experience at JPMorgan Chase can serve as a platform for a full-time analyst position at the firm following graduation.

Who we're looking for

We're looking for students with an interest in learning more about working in financial services or technology. Sophomore Edge is a program that seeks to provide training experiences for historically underrepresented segments in the field of financial services, including Black, Hispanic and Native American students. We're accepting registration forms from sophomores (class of winter 2021 and spring 2022) in any major; however, students must have authorization to work in the United States. A GPA of 3.2 is preferred but not required.
