Starting a successful technology career
Earn your degree while working in our technology business alongside our industry experts. The four-year degree apprenticeship program offers a comprehensive introduction to the world of technology within financial services and the chance to obtain a full honors degree combined with valuable work experience at our Bournemouth technology hub.
What you'll do
The first year will be general studies and after that you’ll move into a specialism: software engineering, hardware engineering, cybersecurity or data analytics. You’ll be part of the team, making a contribution to our business while applying the knowledge you’re learning in the classroom.
Software engineers work on enhancements and upgrades to our existing software and develop new applications as part of an agile team. You may review code and test applications. Hardware engineers work on cloud based platforms, servers and other infrastructure, monitoring it for problems and resolving issues. Our cybersecurity team is responsible for the security of our data, our clients’ information and our systems. They rigorously test for vulnerabilities and run simulations to find areas where we can improve. In data analytics, you’ll work on solving problems using big data, search for insights and look for patterns that we can use to improve our products and services.
Who we're looking for
You’ll need strong communication and collaboration skills, excellent problem-solving abilities and a drive to learn will spark our interest.
